Our son has made so many leaps and bounds over his past 4 years in this great small school.  GAMS has truly been our son’s “second home” up to now, and now he is graduating this June! It’s hard to believe our son was that little anxious boy who would barely say a word to anyone during his first year. “Every flower blooms in its own time.” – This is what we learned about our son at GAMS, the teachers, and the Montessori Principles. He has blossomed into a very capable young boy. We are so impressed with the positive changes we have seen in our son – increased confidence, independence, and his ability to perform public speaking very well! GAMS provided our son with a small, safe, nurturing environment to establish the foundation for a lifetime of learning. We are so thankful to have found this school. Glen Abbey Montessori School has been an eye opener for us on how much a proper and structured system of education can and has given our child the best of education that is possible and by using a holistic approach, inculcated in our child all the best habits and the ability to fit in, in the society with respect for the elders and manners. The system of education has been unparalleled, with her level of education being that of grade 2, even though she will be entering grade 1 after graduation from GAMS, our child will move on with strong basics that will keep her ahead in the coming times. The habits of cleanliness, caring for people, surroundings and the environment, respect are some of the things that are now well ingrained in our child. The school has a perfect mixture of children from various cultures across the world and it has been seen that the children together celebrate different festivals through the year, which makes them understand and be better people. The teachers are professionally trained and have used their experience in giving the best that is possible to the children, including giving them the basics of french, which will help the children to move on to french immersion if the need arises. Lastly but never the least, the Principal, Mrs.J, is loved by all children and her long experience in the Montessori education system works wonders with all the children in the School.
